Interviewing a qualifier about his pre-conceived thoughts the night before the Grand Final Main Event.

Opening the event with a little speech.
In the background, to the right, is Garth Kay. Garth is the National Operations Manager for 888 Poker League- don’t mess with him when registering he’s tough.

Chatting to one of the players whilst on break.

Here I am seated on the feature table in seat three.

Here are some stills I shot while on set filming a documentary about body builder, Pablo Corea.
Pablo is a personal trainer and competes in body building competitions. He may look familiar from modeling his fit physique across the pages of GQ magazine and can be seen on TV for his fitness.
Hope you enjoy the shots.

Usually when you hear that there’s a part three in the film industry a part of your brain says why bother? This is normally always the case with me except when it comes to the Toy Story franchise. So at the risk of getting gravely disappointed I parted ways with my cash and readied myself for what was to come. Luckily I was not disappointed.
As per usual, the story revolves around Andy and the platonic love his toys have for him but this time around it was also about moving on both literally and metaphorically. Toy Story 3 has some very entertaining moments that will give you everything from mild chuckles to uncontrollable laugh-out-loud outburst like Mr Potato Head’s tortilla metamorphosis, Buzz going into Spanish mode and the three-eyed aliens quest for the ‘claw’. As for the 3D experience? Well for once it did not let down, especially during the opening action sequence. Nice work Pixar.
Overall I’d give it a four out of five.

I came across the latest Johnnie Walker commercial when at the cinemas sitting through previews.
You need to watch this ad from start to end to really appreciate why I value the production and talent of this commercial.
Love to hear your thoughts?

Being a ninemsn presenter certainly has its perks. From covering the best car shows in the country to filming cool new video programs and attending multiple media launches.
My latest expedition allowed me to test the all new VW Golf R on a closed track out at Camden Airport. Being a fan of the previous GTi model, I was very keen to get a feel for the new Golf R.
Not one to own a full race suit just yet, I made do with a pair of Denim and Thread jeans, a warm Lonsdale jacket and trusty helmet to match.
After a few warm-up laps I was soon pushing the G-force down the straight and at breaking points. The ABS brakes seemed pretty solid which is always reassuring specially when you do speeds you know you shouldn’t be doing. And the engine really has the grunt to keep you excited all the way. Personally, I found the all-wheel drive and the transmission to be quite smooth as well specially when entering and exiting corners.
Overall? I liked it.

Thanks to Mark Pakula for the images

Face Fashion put on a great show in 2010. Unfortunately for me and for the second show in a row I was unable to attend due to work commitments overseas. However luckily for me and for those who missed out on the sold out event held at Carriage Works in Sydney, it was captured by Face TV.

Being extremely fortunate I was given an opportune moment to briefly chat with Matt Damon before he commenced play in the Ante Up for Africa charity tournament. Already being a fan of his performance and after watching Invictus on the plane ride over to the US, I was all the more eager to chat to the very talented actor. I impose very as personally I find a South African accent is very hard to pull off convincingly if it’s not your native tongue. Especially whilst concentrating on the art of acting. So here is the brief moment I was able to indulge in of his very humble persona before his snappy pr lady got her whip cracking. Hence the abrupt cut and sign off at the end. Enjoy.
