Face Fashion put on a great show in 2010. Unfortunately for me and for the second show in a row I was unable to attend due to work commitments overseas. However luckily for me and for those who missed out on the sold out event held at Carriage Works in Sydney, it was captured by Face TV.

A day of fun, relaxation and pampering were all to be had at this years New Directions Open Day. Lots of anxious and excited people, especially the ladies, filled out the beautifully presented New Directions head office.
Kicking off the start to the day was the soulful sounds of Theo The Bossanova Trio to get you in the right frame of mind as this was a day dedicated to serve the invitees. With lots to sample and to everyones excitement the best feature was the luxurious pamper room. Ladies queued for hot foot soaks in rose petals, hot hand waxes, free consultations and the famous oxygen bar with their fruity free air. There was also a free gourmet barbeque lunch with delicious catering to be offered consistently throughout the day and a place to leave the kids entertained. Many live presentations attracted the crowds and new followers who were very eager for a sample which were showcasing New Direction’s extensive, all natural range.
My favourite presentation of the day was by the Beauty Chef, Carla Oates who was also nice enough to personally sign her book for me. She made a fusion of scrubs and masks with tasty ingredients all found in your own kitchen. Celebrity model Annalise Braakensiek also made an appearance on behalf of the Prince of Wales Hospital foundation who were present raising money for cancer patients.
All in all the day was a huge success with excellent event organisational skills of Sharmilla and New Direction’s bosses Don and Dom. Enjoy the FACETV video below with more to be found at www.facetv.com.au
